Update, 21 February 2022.

We are very pleased to say that the system for reimbursing the IHS is now ready to start.  The first few applications have been sent to NHS Business Services Authority to test the new system set up for the processing.  Once any final issues are resolved, they are confident that the full backlog of applications will be processed and refunds made by the end of March.

All IHS refunds will be paid in fullTherefore there will be no need to reapply at six-monthly intervals as previously noted.

We do appreciate the financial hardship this has caused many of you and would like to thank you all for your patience in the face of such long delays.
