Public consultation on our latest set of guidance (List 3) for the Evidence-based Interventions (EBI) Programme has now closed.

We are now reviewing the feedback received during the consultation. We will keep you updated here as this work progresses.

The EBI programme provides guidance on when it is and is not appropriate to carry out specific interventions, with the aim of improving the quality of care being offered to patients and optimising the use of NHS resources. List 3 covers 17 interventions, across a range of medical specialties.

Online consultation events formed part of the EBI consultation and were divided by medical specialty. We were joined by the experts who helped to develop the proposed guidance to explain the process, evidence and rationale behind each piece of guidance. They answered any questions attendees had during Q&A sessions and all comments are looked at and considered when producing the final guidance.

If you missed out on an event or simply want to go back over what was shown in the discussions,  the presentations from the events are available on the consultation event presentations page.
