Specialty Guidance for Appraisal and Revalidation

As part of revalidation, doctors need to collect and bring to their appraisal six types of supporting information to show how they are keeping up to date and fit to practise.

The GMC has outlined these requirements for doctors in its guidance Supporting Information for Appraisal and Revalidation. It recommends that doctors in specialist practice should consult the supporting information guidance provided by their medical Royal College or Faculty (below).

The Specialty Supporting Information Guidance details what information each medical Royal College or Faculty expects based on their specialty expertise.
