The Academy Infection Training Working Party (AITWP) is developing an infection training curriculum and assessment system for infectious diseases, medical microbiology and virology.

The working party is chaired by Professor Sir Neil Douglas and has representation from:

  • Royal College of Pathologists
  • Royal College of Physicians
  • Faculty of Public Health
  • Health Protection Agency
  • Trainee Doctors
  • COPMeD
